Cardio Fit Class

cardiofit-3.jpgFIT (functional interval training) is a cardio-based class that uses the proven method of HIIT (high intensity interval training) to boost metabolism and burn major calories. You’ll use a variety of equipment and your own bodyweight to challenge the cardiovascular system and improve speed and agility. High intensity interval training is just like it sounds– short intense intervals followed by a short rest period.

Research has shown that the HIIT technique boosts your EPOC (Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption) by 142% compared to traditional aerobic exercise (running on a treadmill with a consistent heart rate). What does that mean? You will burn more calories for a longer period of time, boosting metabolism and improving your fitness at a faster rate. And you’ll have a lot more fun!!
