Tuesdays: 6:30pm

Saturdays: 10am

Brenda Assante is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher, trained through a company called Yoga Fit. Her style is a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga which is provided in a form meant to be a de-mystified and non-intimidating version of yoga that is easy to learn and enjoy. The practice taught will provide mind and body health/fitness and will also benefit performance with other training methods and sports.

She taught at NYSC in NYC and began teaching yoga part-time in Chapel Hill and working full-time as a nutritionist upon moving to the area. She has learned from personal experience and her students how yoga can greatly increase flexibility, strength, balance and provide greater mental calmness. She is excited to be able to offer yoga to the Mebane community.

Sage Rountree, PhD, a Registered Yoga Teacher and USA Triathlon and USA Cycling certified coach, is author of The Athlete’s Guide to Yoga (VeloPress, 2008). Her practical, straightforward teaching style combines heating and cooling approaches to poses. Sage’s podcast of post-workout stretching routines is available at sagerountree.com. She trains, teaches, and coaches in Chapel Hill, NC.
