Philosophy

Today’s society revolves around health and fitness. Everywhere you turn someone is touting the latest and greatest diet, exercise method or magic pill. Yet the health of our nation is not improving. With so much information available, why are we not able to win our weight-loss battles? I believe that we have lost touch with the real reasons to strive for a healthy shape and the benefits of truly connecting with our bodies.

Fitness is defined in so many different ways. Some define fitness as looking a certain way. Others define fitness as being able to lift 200 lbs or run 10 miles. I define fitness as the ability to live your life to its fullest, without limitations, and do anything you want or need to do.

Remember when you were a kid -  running, jumping, climbing trees and doing whatever sounded fun - just playing and enjoying nature? Now, as an adult, do you still play those games? Like many of us, you may have lost that joy. We no longer trust and appreciate our bodies. We hate them for not being perfect, curse them for every blunder and waste their incredible potential.

Your body is an extraordinary machine. It is powerful, adaptable and incredibly resilient. If you treat it well, it can perform amazing tasks even beyond the grasp of your mind. You are not a slave to your schedule, your genetics, your family, your worries or even your injuries. You can accomplish anything!!

Shouldn’t the world be YOUR playground?
